Original and Thought-provoking
The stories explore the paths to overcoming obstacles against all odds and reaching one’s dreams. Although it’s a work of fiction, the stories illustrate how the characters, through their struggles and dreams, emerge with a voice that speaks to the power of integrity and humanity amidst all the struggles, social challenges, and legacies. It is not something that usually happens in classic fairy tale books, but it is regarded as one of the best novels about colonialism

I have article which I want to publish about the Dodd frank Act for Easten DRC’minerals but I don’t have your adress mail. Would you give that. Please.
I’m congolese in north Kivu/DRC.
that, I’m not naive enough to think that what Tony Blair says will be foolwled at a 100% rate by Rwanda; however, it is a sign to show that traditional backers of Rwanda are not longer keen in seeing Rwanda being associated with tragedy in that region and this can only help stem down some exaggerated ambitions.I think Kinshasa’s position seems realistic as long as they can show that the territory of the DRC can no longer be used as a safe haven for armed gangs and destabilising forces in the region. This means Kinshasa must be serious about getting the army and security sector restructured and bring the level of ethnic and tribal hatred in the Grand Kivu to a manageable level. In this way, Kinshasa should be encouraged to foster with its neighbours a relationship that is responsible and of mutual respect; but not being bullied into a relationship that serves to cover up someone’s mess whilst sacrificing its own safety and national identity pride. We cannot say it loud enough, allowing the truth about the recent hatred and deadly conflicts in the African great lakes to come out and be dealt with in a reconciling way is in no shape of form declaring war to Rwanda. Unless the Tutsi led regime in Rwanda and the transnational Tutsi elite is determined to dominate the region through defiance and calculated violence. There is a way for Kagame to help bring peace in the region but this should not be through defiance or calculated violence because that will only water the roots of hatred and vengeance that feed the infernal cycle that has produced rounds of victorious victims over the years.Readers, it’s just an opinion and through this, I’m in no way, demanding to be treated with outrage; if that’s OKAY!A suivre en tout cas…
Hi Mopetane,
I know quite much about the Rwandan situation in relation to DRC’s political crisis. What are you aiming for?
Cheers!
President Kikwete’s proposal is the only meticulous way to go for sustainable peace in Congo. Kagame ought to accept direct talks with all his political opponents including the Hutu rebels (FDLR). The government of Rwanda’s hilarious response to president Kikwete’s proposal is regrettable but not surprising. Kagame’s political survival is pegged on demonizing, assassinating and imprisoning his political opponents. Genocide, an unfortunate crime Rwandans have been subjected to, has been Kagame’s major tool for oppressing and terrorizing Rwandans in general and political opponents in particular. Although some people in FDLR could have committed genocide against the Tutsi, there is no clear evidence to prove that FDLR as a group committed genocide.
In any case, Gen. Kagame is not a court of law. Kagame himself, and a significant number of people in his Tutsi clique-controlled government, are accused of horrible crimes, including genocide, against the Hutu refugees in Congo. The Tanzanian government should use its political and economic capacities to pressure Gen. Kagame into a dialogue with his political opponents including FDLR.
It is self-deception and lack of vision to think that the balances of forces will remain unchanged to perennials in the Great Lakes Region of Africa.
Just few decades back, one could hardly believe that South Africa would ever be run by black presidents. But even during the apartheid, there were people like former foreign minister Roelof Frederik Pik Botha who, as they were visionary, knew that South Africa had no other way to go, but negotiate with black people and associate with them. That prompted Frederik de Klerk to engage discussions with African National Congress leaders (then) exiled in ZAMBIA.
And now we have a free South Africa, for all; blacks, colors, Indians, and whites.
Everybody knows that the world is not for a particular alone to enjoy, so Mr KAGAME has but one choice; either to engage in the tide’s direction, or let himself and his regime swept by the tide.
Un homme averti en vaut deux.
Forewarned is forearmed.
I have lived in Europe now for more than a decade and my eienrxpece keeps reminding me a long journey we Africans have towards our own true emancipation and freedom.Let me put it the right way! When you’re from Africa living in a Western Country, you have no place in the media at any level to write all kind of whatever nonsense about their established instutitions. To the most youngest kid, you will be called a third world foreigner with nothing to tell people. However, when you are a Westerner and find life boring for your own ineptitude to please yourself with what your society has to offer, then the easy escape is to find some so-called “humanitarian” avenue to serve the so-called “poor people of Africa”. When you find this still boring since you have no mind for anything constructive, you bet first on getting onto your first plane to your homeland and begin to write bullshit about some top leaders in some corners of Africa. Conclusion: I cannot agree more to Kagame when he gets to the point of telling you utterly to “go hang”!!! So go hang if all you see in Africa is your damn dark world. Btw, Africans are the most happiest people on earth! Did you know that?
President Kikwete is a balanced and wise man. One can only resolve problems by seating together with the enemy and try to understand and pardon each other. Tata Mandela did that with his fierce enemy and look at the result today in South Africa. I do not understand if someone on his right mind will refuse the integration of Rwandese back into their country. The genocide took place 20 years ago and all thousand’s of Rwandese that are born in DRC should not be treated like person non angrata in Rwanda. They have the same right like any Rwandese, why Kagame cannot see and understand that.
Kagaame is just destroying his image and now trying to open another front with Tanzania. Although Tanzania is very peaceful, we should think twice as this is a real sleeping giant in the continent.
Kagame should think twice as this may be the biggest mistake that will bring more chaos in the region.
Africa does not need another war. We need to fight poverty not each other, and my humble solution will be as follow:
1. Rwanda to seat with all political parties to discuss integration
2. Rwanda to understand that Tanzania is just trying to help and do not need a war
3. Rwanda to understand that in case of any war, both countries will lose and Rwanda might not recover for 80 years to come.
4. Rwanda to stop disturbing eastern Congo and really engages truly into negotiation with the DRC government
5. Rwanda to accept any other country territorial integrity
6. Rwanda to stop supporting M23 in DRC
7. Rwanda to truly support peace in the region
No country is above the law. We are all africans and no one should disturb each other peace. my humble advise…
